Pork & sauerkraut meal




Pork & Sauerkraut meal
Pre-sear the pork in bacon drippings to seal in moisture,
place pork in stock pot,
add peeled & chunked potatoes,
add chicken broth,
rinse 1 bag of sauerkraut add to pot,
add 1 more bag of sauerkraut un-rinsed,
add cut up onions,
add a touch of brown sugar,
add seasalt & fresh ground pepper,
Cover & stew for a good 3-4 hrs.

Side: Green Beans,
pan fried in bacon drippings
and garlic cloves.
Add red chili pods for spice & garnish.
Sprinkle feta or goat cheese or both right before serving.
